Beautiful spot! Great for sitting at the bar or perfect for a date night. We have ordered from there using Uber Eats for over a year and just decided, while in the area, to eat in. We were pleasantly surprise and have been several times since. Service is amazing and atmosphere is sophisticated. Food is the best Asian cuisine that we have ever had!! Best definitely recommend this one!!!

Although the restaurant is a bit smaller than I anticipated, the layout was well-designed, offering enough space to enjoy a meal without feeling cramped. Service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu. To top it off, I enjoyed a Strawberry Lemondrop Martini (celebrating my birthday), which was deliciously refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, Suishaya exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing sushi experience in Columbia, SC!
My first time eating there. My daughter and I had the lunch portions, they were a nice size. Our waitress Melissa was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different dishes and if she wasn't sure she'd go and ask. I would recommend this place Melissa was friendly, the place was clean and the food was good also the bathroom was very clean ( my on pet peeve clean bathroom clean restraunt).
Great sushi! Stopped in while staying the night nearby. Vast menu with so many options for sushi lovers. We had the Fuji, Sweetheart and the Pink Lady. All a must try. My favorite was the Fuji with the crab on top.
We go here often to different sushi and it's always good. Service is always good and the restaurant is nice and clean. I would recommend trying the Dynamite fried sushi even if you don't like sushi, or it's your first time trying it. I think you would enjoy it, it's really good. This time, we tried (top to bottom) the White spider maki, B-52 (fried sushi), and The Crown (fried sushi). They were all good and didn't need any soy sauce or anything. I would definitely recommend Suishaya for dinner or lunch.
We had an amazing time at Suishaya for our Valentine’s Day celebration! The service was outstanding—super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. The sushi was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. We loved the signature rolls and the variety on the menu.
Went with a group of 5 people at dinner time in a Saturday. We were seated straight away, with no wait time. Food came out promptly. Our server was awesome. All the food tasted great.
A Tasting Food especially the wings! A Speed of Service A Customer Service The chicken wings were hot fresh and yaste great with the homemade duck sauce. The Beef Fried rice was great as well. Our waitress Melissa was Awesome! Here kindness, efficiency of taking our order and knowledge of the menu was very impressive. We appreciate her.
